By sport

Every sport runs
differently.

A water polo club schedules around pool time. A volleyball club lives on tournament weekends. A track squad is four squads sharing a track. Rostered models each sport the way the sport works, down to its positions, its season and how it competes.

Soccer

Goalkeeper · Defender · Midfielder · Forward

Youth soccer runs long seasons with large squads, and the admin load is mostly repetition: the same questions about the same events, the same twenty families, every week from August to November.

Basketball

Point Guard · Shooting Guard · Small Forward · Power Forward

Club basketball compresses a lot into a short season: multiple games a weekend, gym slots that move, and travel teams whose families need to know the plan a week out.

Volleyball

Setter · Outside Hitter · Middle Blocker · Opposite

Club volleyball is a tournament sport. Most of the season is weekends away, which makes travel logistics and availability the administrative center of gravity.

Water Polo

Goalkeeper · Field Player · Driver · Wing

Water polo clubs run on pool time, which is scarce, shared and moves. Everything administrative follows from that constraint.

Cross Country

Cross country is a meet sport with a large squad and a short season, and almost all of the administration is logistics: who is running, who is traveling, and when the bus leaves.

Track & Field

Sprinter · Distance Runner · Jumper · Thrower

Track and field is several sports sharing a squad. Sprinters, distance runners, jumpers and throwers train differently and compete at different points of a long meet day.

Flag Football

Quarterback · Receiver · Running Back · Center

Flag football is the fastest-growing youth sport in the country and it recruits families who have never run a sports club before. Short seasons, young athletes, and a lot of first-time volunteers.

Ice Hockey

Center · Wing · Defense · Goalie

Youth hockey runs on ice time, which is expensive, booked months ahead and frequently at hours no other sport would tolerate. Everything else follows from the sheet schedule.

Wrestling

Wrestling asks a program to keep a running answer to one question: which weight class is this wrestler eligible for, today. It is not a fact you record once. It is a number somebody else established before the season, moving on a schedule, checked against paperwork tied to each meet, for every wrestler on the roster at the same time.

Swimming

Freestyle · Backstroke · Breaststroke · Butterfly

Swimming asks a coach to hold a running total for every swimmer on the team, against a cap they cannot exceed, while the thing being counted keeps changing. A dual-meet lineup is a tactical answer to the other team’s lineup, so it is written late and moves, and every move redistributes the count.

Football

Quarterback · Running Back · Wide Receiver · Tight End

Football plays about ten games, once a week, and that arithmetic runs the whole sport. One date is a tenth of the season, so a date that goes unfilled is a week nobody played. Underneath it, a high school player’s quarters accumulate against a limit their state sets, over a week their state defines, and somebody keeps that count by hand.

These run on Rostered too. We have not written them up the way the sports above are written up, so there is no page behind these names, only the sport itself. Picking one takes you to signup.

Still not listed? A club can pick a custom sport and name it themselves, so a sport we have not modelled is still a club we can run.
