Run your volleyball club
from one app.
Club volleyball is a tournament sport. Most of the season is weekends away, which makes travel logistics and availability the administrative center of gravity.
Volleyball scheduling
built for tournament weekends.
Multi-day events treated as multi-day events, with calendar feeds that keep up when pool play shifts.
A weekend that behaves like a weekend
Rostered handles a multi-day event as one event across several days rather than a pile of separate entries, so a family sees the weekend as a weekend and answers it as one. The calendar feed they already subscribe to updates when the schedule firms up, which in this sport is routinely after the team has left home on Friday night.
Venue, court, and what the sky is doing
Each event carries its venue, the specific court where that is known, the address, and the forecast for it. When the weekend is a four-hour drive and the question is whether to leave Friday evening or at five on Saturday morning, that is not decoration, it is the decision the whole household is making.
Three edits, one notification
A schedule change sends one notification for the event rather than one per edit, which matters on a weekend where a director might adjust three things in ten minutes. Recurring practices can be muted individually by a family who does not need a reminder every Tuesday but does need to hear about the tournament.
Who is traveling
this weekend.
Availability answered per athlete and per day, so Saturday-yes and Sunday-no is a normal answer.
Asked per athlete, and per day
Rostered asks each athlete individually and, on a multi-day tournament, asks per day. The answer is a yes or a no against a specific day rather than a message in a thread that a coach has to read twice and still not be sure about. Reminders chase only the families who have not replied and link straight to the event.
You can tell silence from a missed message
The invitation is tracked as sent, viewed and answered, so a coach chasing a travel list on Wednesday knows who has seen the request and who has not. Coaches see confirmed, declined and pending with names against each, and can have the summary emailed rather than opening the app between work meetings.
Who has actually been in the gym
Attendance at practice is marked present or absent from a phone in the gym, with excused reasons recorded and a guardian’s own check-in stored separately from the coach’s mark. In a sport where a club is choosing who travels to the next tournament, having an honest picture of who has actually been in the gym matters more than it does elsewhere.
Volleyball rosters,
setters to liberos.
The specialist positions the sport actually uses, with jersey numbers and guardian contacts.
Setter, outside, middle, opposite, libero
Volleyball positions are specialties, not zones, and Rostered carries them as such: setter, outside hitter, middle blocker, opposite and libero. A coach building a lineup is looking at specialists, and a roster that flattens all of that into "player" is a roster a coach stops opening.
11U to 18U, organized
Clubs running age groups from 11U to 18U organize them with divisions, teams and cohorts. An athlete sits in a cohort by graduating year, cohorts are assigned to divisions for the season, and a player who moves between teams mid-season takes their schedule, availability and team Huddle with them rather than leaving three lists to reconcile.
Guardian contacts, four hours from home
Guardian contacts sit on the roster, which matters most in the sport where families are most often several hours from home when something goes wrong, and one parent account covers every child in the family across every age group the club runs.
One Huddle for
the whole weekend.
Team Huddles that follow the roster, with attachments for the tournament schedule and hotel details.
Membership follows the roster
Each team gets a Huddle created with it, with membership following the roster, so a player who joins in January sees what was agreed in November. Attachments keep the tournament schedule and the venue map with the message instead of in a parent’s downloads folder.
Twelve confirmations, no notification storm
Reactions let twelve families confirm they have read the departure time without generating twelve notifications for everybody else, and announcement mode is there for the messages that need to be read rather than replied to. A single tournament can carry its own Huddle, which keeps a chaotic weekend out of the team’s regular thread.
Email, for what is not chat
Not every message belongs in a thread. Coaches and administrators can send club email through Rostered, and those emails are listed inside the app as well, so a family hunting for the hotel block or the entry fee three weeks later finds it where the rest of the club lives rather than in an inbox full of school mail.
