RSVPs & attendance

Know who’s coming
before game day.

Counting heads by group text does not scale past one team. Rostered asks every family the question directly, chases the ones who have not answered, and gives the coach a live count instead of a guess.

How it works

01

The question goes out

Every athlete on the event gets asked. Families answer in the app or on the web, attending, not attending, or maybe.

02

Reminders chase the gaps

Email and push reminders go to the families who have not answered yet, linking straight to the event rather than to a homepage they then have to navigate.

03

The coach sees a number

A live count of confirmed, declined and still-pending, with the names behind each. Plans get made on facts instead of an estimate.

04

Attendance closes the loop

Where a club enables attendance, coaches mark who is present on the day. What was promised and what happened are two different questions, and Rostered answers both.

You can tell silence from a missed message

Rostered tracks whether an invitation has been sent, whether it has been viewed, and whether it has been answered. That distinction matters: a family who opened the event and did not reply needs a different nudge from a family whose email never arrived. Most tools show you a blank either way.

Responses across a team, showing who has answered

Answered per athlete, and per day

Responses belong to the athlete, not the household, so a family with three kids gives three answers. On multi-day events each day is answered separately, the Saturday of a tournament can be a yes and the Sunday a no without anyone having to explain it in a message thread.

Attendance built for how coaches actually mark it

Attendance is a feature a club turns on, and where it is enabled a coach marks present or absent from the sideline on a phone. An absence can be excused with a reason, reported in advance, illness, injury, school, family, so the end-of-season picture distinguishes a kid who told you from a kid who vanished. Guardians can flag a same-day change themselves, which saves the coach finding out at the field.

Questions

Can a parent RSVP without installing anything?

Yes. Event emails link straight to the event and parents can answer on the web. The apps add push notifications and quicker check-ins for families who want them.

What is the difference between an RSVP and attendance?

An RSVP is what a family said beforehand. Attendance is what happened on the day, marked by the coach. RSVPs work for every club. Attendance marking is switched on per club, so ask if you want it from day one. Where both run, the gap between them is often the useful part.

Do coaches get told who has not replied?

Yes. The dashboard shows pending alongside confirmed and declined, and reminders go to the families who have not answered rather than to everybody again.

Free for parents and athletes, always. Clubs pick a package sized to their athlete count.
